4th Ward

Brother Brad Johnson

“This has been a great day. The end of my earthly travels. We decided a couple of days ago that I wasn’t going to get better and so I am able to decide it’s time to go on and be with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know we have been given a plan of salvation, a plan for happiness. Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us all to be the best. He has given us tools to overcome challenges, the gospel of Jesus Christ, prayer, temples, and scriptures. If we follow Jesus Christ’s example we can have true joy. Thanks and love to you all, Brad”

Last Sunday, October 10th, our friend, leader, teacher, temple-friend and neighbor left us to return Home. The words above are his last Facebook post and we appreciate his goodness and uplifting spirit.

Brad’s funeral will be held this Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 11:00 am in our chapel. The Stake Presidency has asked that his funeral services be limited to 50 people during this difficult time. In order to allow for his family and close friends to be able to attend safely in person, the Stake has arranged for a link to a virtual funeral – much like our Sacrament meeting each Sunday. You will find the link for his services as well as a link for his obituary below.

Our deepest love and sympathy for Jana, Greg, Emily and Jake as well as his dear mother, Judy.
